Registered Nurse - Cardiac Tele
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in a cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients with a range of cardiac diagnoses and procedures. The unit’s cases include chest pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, left and right heart catheterization, TEE, cardioversions, stress tests, pacemakers, AMI, atrial fibrillation, CHF, bradycardia, AICD insertion, and SVT/tachycardia. The nurse may float within the facility and scope of practice as needed. The position includes working every other weekend and applicable major holidays. There is no call. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Full compliance is required by the start date; otherwise, the start may be pushed back two weeks because orientation occurs biweekly. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours depend on assignment length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment or 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- First-time travelers are not accepted by the unit.
- Full compliance is required to start on time.
- Time-off requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days.
Responsibilities
