Carenest Health Services•Augusta, GA

About The Position

Registered Nurse role on a cardiac telemetry unit serving adults through geriatric patients. The unit has 16 beds and an average daily census of 16, with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Nurses may float within the facility and their scope of practice as needed. For the present time, RNs are expected to perform their own vital-sign and blood-glucose checks. The role uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR; Epic experience is required. Navy blue scrubs are required. Call is not required. The role includes weekend and holiday shifts according to the assignment schedule. Full compliance is required to start on time; otherwise, the start may be pushed back by two weeks because orientation is biweekly. After a candidate signs and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and confirmation for unit, schedule, and expertise fit. An offer is available only if the candidate passes clinical review within RTO guidelines and meets facility requirements. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment and 19 hours for a 19-week assignment).
