About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for patient care for adults to geriatrics, with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues. For the present time, all RN roles will be expected to perform their own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks. The unit has 16 rooms with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5. The nurse will be expected to float within the facility/scope of practice as needed. Compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance will result in a two-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Aya Offer information is available if the candidate passes clinicals within RTO guidelines and meets specific facility requirements. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours is determined by contract length.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification
• Experience with Epic
• Ability to perform own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks
• Full compliance required to start on time
