About The Position

BAYADA is hiring a per diem Registered Nurse to provide home health visits in senior living communities in Allentown and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible schedules and one-to-one care. Nurses follow individualized care plans, provide and document clinical services, assess and monitor clients, and coordinate care. Compensation is listed at $52.00–$64.00 per point, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiation.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, verified by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients’ needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications and provide wound care, treatments, and procedures as assigned.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Manage cases and coordinate care.
• Document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
