About The Position

BAYADA is hiring a Registered Nurse to make home health visits in senior living communities in Allentown and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible schedules, one-to-one care, and an emphasis on work/life balance. The nurse follows designated care plans, provides and documents clinical services, monitors clients, and coordinates their care. The position requires travel to assigned cases and use of a touch pad tablet for documentation.

Requirements

Hold a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Have solid computer skills.
Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients’ needs.
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform client assessments as necessary.
Provide case management and coordination.
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care and services using a touch pad tablet.
