About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a per diem Registered Nurse to make home health visits to clients in senior living communities throughout Frederick County, Maryland. The role offers flexible schedules and one-to-one care. The nurse follows designated care plans, provides and documents clinical services, monitors clients, and coordinates care. Base pay is $55.00–$62.00 per point, depending on qualifications.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, supported by a school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans based on patients’ needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications and provide wound care, treatments, and procedures as assigned.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordinate care.
• Document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
