About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a per-diem Registered Nurse to provide home health visits in senior living facilities throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. Visits are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role offers flexible scheduling and one-to-one care.

The nurse follows designated care plans, performs visits and assigned clinical duties, monitors clients' conditions, and coordinates and documents care. Compensation is listed as $55.00–$62.00 per point, depending on qualifications.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients' needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care and services using a touch-pad tablet.
