About The Position

BAYADA is hiring a per-diem Registered Nurse to provide home health visits in senior living facilities throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. Visits take place Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role offers flexible schedules, one-on-one care, and an emphasis on work/life balance. Nurses provide care according to each client’s designated care plan, carry out clinical duties, monitor and document client status, and coordinate case management. The position uses a touch pad tablet for documentation. Base pay is $55.00–$62.00 per point, depending on qualifications.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
• At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients’ needs.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Manage cases and coordinate care.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
