About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a per diem Registered Nurse to provide home health visits to clients in senior living settings across Frederick County, Maryland. The role offers flexible schedules, one-on-one care, and a focus on work/life balance. Nurses follow designated care plans, provide treatments and medication, assess and monitor clients, coordinate care, and document services using a tablet. Base pay is $55.00–$62.00 per point, depending on qualifications.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
- At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical medical/surgical experience.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, documented by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills.
- Ability to travel to assigned cases.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow designated care plans in accordance with patients’ needs.
- Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
- Administer medication and provide wound care, treatments, and procedures as assigned.
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide case management and care coordination.
- Document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
