About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - Long Term Care (LTC) assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/14/2026. The position is located in a Long Term Care facility on the campus of a hospital. There are no guaranteed hours for this assignment. The pay range is $2,133 to $2,302 per week. The role requires flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, which may vary and include weekends and holidays. An onboarding requirement is to arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health clearance.

Requirements

Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment; travelers not currently in possession of a Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of offer
Hawaii license must be active by start date
Ability to perform long-term care clinical duties listed above
Flexibility to work varied 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Onboarding requirement: arrive the Thursday before the start date for the employee health screening

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and perform treatments and medication administration per physician orders in an LTC setting
Monitor patient status, document findings, and notify the MD/NP of pertinent changes
Manage admissions and discharges as part of transitions of care
Provide ADL assistance and support with activities of daily living
Deliver wound care, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, and nebulized treatments as assigned
Provide CPAP care, tracheostomy care, and other duties as directed, collaborating with the care team to support patient needs
