About The Position

VitalHire offers per diem/PRN work that allows Registered Nurses to select where and when they work. Nurses use an app to select available shifts, with instant confirmation to lock in a schedule as far into the future as shifts are available. The position is at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, providing long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation services. Available shifts are days, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM ET, and evenings, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM ET; each shift is 8 hours. The hourly rate is $42.68.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience; long-term care or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania RN license, or a multistate compact license where accepted.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Hepatitis B series or titer.
• MMR series or titer.
• Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years or titer.
• Varicella series or titer.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation residents.
• Administer medications and treatments, including wound care, according to physician orders.
• Assess residents, update care plans, and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and GNAs/CNAs on the unit.
• Document accurately.
