About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, located in a rural Wisconsin setting. The position is for a 12-week contract, starting on 09/07/2026, with night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This is a 0.75 FTE assignment, equating to 60 hours per biweekly pay period, with guaranteed hours of 30 per week. The role requires working every third weekend (Friday–Sunday) and participating in holiday rotation. The position is situated in the Emergency Department of a rural Critical Access Hospital.

Requirements

Current, active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin
Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) and every third weekend; holiday rotation
Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements
Availability for a 12-week travel assignment; 60 hours per biweekly pay period (0.75 FTE)
Strong communication and teamwork skills for a rural ED setting

Provide initial assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of ED patients
Administer medications, IV therapy, and acute interventions per orders
Collaborate with the ED team; assist with resuscitation and procedures within scope

Discharge planning and patient education; coordinate transfers as needed
