About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse position for the Emergency Department in Kapaa, Hawaii. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a potential for extension. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department across a wide range of acuity, performing triage, initial assessments, and implementing individualized care plans. Responsibilities also include administering medications, starting IVs, monitoring patient status, supporting emergent procedures, documenting care in the electronic health record, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and adapting to float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed. The nurse will respond to emergencies, manage rapid patient turnover, and uphold patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Ability to work variable shifts (AM and PM) and 12-hour shifts; 80 hours in a two-week period
• Willingness to float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed
• Target start date of 09/07/2026; able to meet compliance and arrival requirements
• Assignment length of 13 weeks with potential for extension
• Flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours
