About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse - ER assignment in Reedley, California. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The role is in a Critical Access Hospital setting and involves working 3x12-hour day shifts, guaranteeing 36 hours per week. The weekly pay range is $2,066–$2,127.

Requirements

California Registered Nurse (RN) license, active
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor; CPR acceptable per policy
ACLS certification (American Heart Association) or ARC-ALS; required
PALS certification (American Heart Association) or ARC-PALS; required
EPIC EMR experience required
Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hospital-based ER setting
Must be eligible for the assignment starting 09/21/2026 and able to commit to 13 weeks

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using the nursing process and established standards.
Collect and document pertinent data; analyze assessment findings to identify care needs and plan interventions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care; coordinate with interdisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and escalate changes as needed.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; delegate duties and coordinate with other disciplines.
Utilize EPIC electronic medical record to document care and support communication among care teams.
