About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in the Emergency Room (ER) located in Winnebago, Nebraska. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/27/2026. The role is in a hospital-based emergency department and offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with a night shift schedule. The weekly pay range is estimated between $2,191 and $2,224.

Requirements

Current, full, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
Associate, bachelor's, or higher degree in nursing from a CCNE-accredited program; must have passed the NCLEX.
Minimum two (2) years of professional nursing experience; at least one (1) year in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
Current certification or willingness to obtain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently; strong communication skills.
Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and work nights; must pass required background and criminal records checks as applicable.

Responsibilities

Assess patients presenting to the ED, triage based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint.
Provide direct nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients; administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
Operate and monitor specialized ER equipment; maintain patient safety and monitor ongoing therapies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure timely treatment plans.
Initiate patient education plans as prescribed and document care concisely and accurately; uphold HIPAA and professional standards.
