Registered Nurse (RN-After Hours / Weekend Nurse)
About The Position
Agape Care Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide after-hours hospice care and support to patients and their families. The RN serves as a patient advocate and communicates with patients, families, and the hospice care team to help ensure patients receive quality care and meaningful experiences. The position is a salaried, full-time role covering on-call hours from 5 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Monday. The nurse is supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. The company offers supportive leadership and professional development opportunities, with room for advancement. Pay is determined by years of experience and location.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state license as a registered nurse.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
- Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.
