Registered Nurse After-Hours Hospice (RN)
About The Position
Agape Care Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide after-hours hospice care and create meaningful experiences for patients and their families. The RN advocates for patients and communicates with patients, families, and the hospice care team to support the plan of care and ensure quality care. This salaried, full-time role covers after-hours on-call service from 5 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Monday. The nurse is supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. The position offers access to supportive leadership and professional development opportunities with room for advancement. Agape Care Group is a regional provider of hospice and palliative care serving patients through care providers in several states. Its mission is to provide comfort and support through compassionate care and meaningful experiences for patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state license as a registered nurse.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
- Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
