About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Cypress Grove Rehab Center provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships by learning residents’ life stories and working collaboratively with staff and care teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care. This is a full-time night position with an every-other-weekend rotation and no on-call requirement. The advertised pay rate is $42 per hour, plus a night shift differential.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing skills.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
• Manage medications.
• Maintain respectful and positive communication with residents, families, customers, staff, and care teams.
