About The Position
This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care through the nursing process. The nurse meets the needs of patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. The role requires compliance with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Current licensure with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- Complete a dysrhythmia course within three months of hire.
- Enroll in a BSN or MSN program at an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position, unless covered by a stated grandfathered exemption.
- Grandfathered educational-requirement exemptions: hired on or before May 31, 2013 for IMC; hired on or before August 4, 2015 for IMCW; hired on or before May 31, 2023 for IMCM.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or MSN graduate.
- National certification in area of specialty.
