About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital – Victorian Village is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout their treatment. This is a per diem position with as-needed 12-hour night shifts and a minimum requirement of four shifts in a six-week period. The role includes an extensive RN orientation program and may offer a path to future full-time opportunities. Compensation is $50.00 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
