About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is recruiting per diem Registered Nurses for Wayne County's 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025. Nurses carry resident assignments, direct LPNs and CNAs, and may serve as charge nurse for their unit when assigned, with facility nursing leadership on site. This is a W-2 hourly per diem position with self-selected availability and no minimum hours. Nurses choose open shifts through the BRIDGE App and may work days, evenings, or nights, on any day of the week. Standard shifts are eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break; twelve-hour shifts may be available. Compensation is $52.00–$58.00 per hour, with nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee's rate. The position also offers reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward a BSN. A $500 referral bonus is available for referring a nurse or aide. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and professional liability insurance covers each shift. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before it begins, the nurse is paid for four hours; with more notice, the shift is removed from the schedule.
