About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Infusion Center (Peds ER) at a pediatric hospital in Rochester, NY. The assignment is for 17 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,493 to $2,656. The role involves administering various pediatric infusion therapies, managing IV access, monitoring patients, and providing education. It is a hospital-based position with a defined schedule of 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.

Requirements

• NY RN License (New York license required)
• Two years of pediatric experience
• BLS certification
• PEARS certification
• APHON certification
• Ability to work in a pediatric infusion center environment and participate in a 17-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Administer pediatric infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, blood products, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy, per established orders and protocols
• Manage IV access and ports (IVADs/Ports), monitor infusion sites, and respond to infusion-related adverse events
• Verify orders, prepare and administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care in the medical record
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during infusions; escalate to the medical team as indicated
• Provide patient and family education regarding infusion therapies, procedures, and safety practices
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and comfort
