About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Room (ER) located in Sonora, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is 3x12 Nights, and the setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider
- ACLS and PALS certification from an approved provider
- At least two years of recent RN experience in acute care or ER setting

- BSN degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ER patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, and other disciplines to coordinate timely and effective care.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and family communication to ensure safe transitions.
