About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in an outpatient care setting in Saint Helena, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026, with a shift of 10 hours per day, 4 days per week, totaling 40 hours per week. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, conducting assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety and quality of care within an outpatient or ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

Active RN license to practice in California (outpatient setting preferred)
Ability to work in an outpatient care environment with day shift availability
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain (if required by location) and willingness to adhere to documentation standards

Nice To Haves

Experience coordinating care and supervising nursing staff is a plus

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or an assigned group, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and clinical supervision.
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure seamless patient experiences and outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions and document findings accurately.
Maintain patient safety, privacy, and quality of care through effective communication and prudent clinical judgment.
