About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) at a high-volume program in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with a focus on neuro and ortho cases. The assignment is for 16 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with a weekly pay range of $1,897–$1,986 for guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role involves 4 days per week, typically 10-hour day shifts, and requires adaptability for specialty cases, including non-local status and specific holiday coverage. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, with demonstrated expertise in neuro and orthopedic procedures; robotics experience is a plus
• Cerner EMR experience or proven ability to learn quickly
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Availability for travel with non-local status; no local candidates within 50 miles of submitting
• Call coverage required as part of the assignment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume perioperative environment and adapt to rotating schedules

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for neuro and orthopedic surgical cases, including spine and robotics-enabled procedures
• Prepare the OR, assist the surgical team, and maintain strict sterile technique and patient safety throughout the operative process
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after anesthesia; respond to intraoperative changes with appropriate interventions
• Document perioperative care and outcomes in the Cerner electronic medical record; ensure accurate and timely charting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub/tech staff; manage equipment and supplies to support efficient case flow
• Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies; support call coverage and on-call requirements as assigned
