Requirements

Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)

Ability to work in a high-demand OR environment and participate in on-call coverage
Eligible for travel assignment in Maine and capable of meeting assignment requirements

Minimum 5 years of perioperative experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic procedures, including circulating and scrub roles as needed
Prepare the operating room, ensure sterility, and assist the surgical team with instrumentation and equipment
Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to the team
Maintain patient safety and comfort, follow sterile technique, and manage all perioperative phases
Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and support staff to maintain efficient case flow
Demonstrate professionalism in call coverage and respond to intraoperative changes as required
