Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license in hand at submission (conditional licenses accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience
• Ability to work in a high-demand OR setting with on-call requirements
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• Education appropriate for RN licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative nursing care as a circulating or scrub OR RN, supporting the surgical team during procedures
• Prepare the operating room, ensure sterility, arrange equipment, and verify patient identity and procedure
• Assist with instrument handling, sponge/needlestick counts, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate intraoperative documentation
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia status; promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain aseptic technique, promote safety and infection control standards, and manage turnover between cases
