About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at Covenant High Plains Surgery Center. The role promotes SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values while assessing patients throughout the perioperative episode, developing individualized perioperative plans of care, and working with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current PALS certification, when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
