About The Position
SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at Bergan Mercy Surgery Center. The role assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in planning care. The nurse is expected to promote SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. The listed pay range is $29.00 to $48.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
- Complete an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
- When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, complete a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
Responsibilities

- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
