About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at Riverside Surgery Center of Rutherford. The RN assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and works with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.

The listed pay range is USD $55.00–$60.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
