About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for Premier Surgery Center of Michigan. The RN supports perioperative patient care and promotes SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. The role involves assessing patients throughout the perioperative episode, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan that care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
