About The Position
Bone & Joint is seeking a team-oriented Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator for its fast-paced orthopedic ambulatory surgery center. Bone & Joint provides orthopedic, pain management, podiatric, physical therapy, and occupational therapy services across multiple locations in Central Wisconsin. Its mission is to be the best place for patients to receive care, employees to work, and physicians to practice medicine. The Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator works in an orthopedic and pain-procedure operating room. The role involves monitoring for breaks in sterility, anticipating the orthopedic team’s needs, scrubbing and draping patients, and protecting patients from infections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure or the ability to apply for it.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the operating room for breaks in sterility.
- Anticipate the needs of the orthopedic team.
- Scrub and drape patients.
- Protect patients from infections.
