About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. The RN promotes SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values; assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode of care; develops individualized perioperative plans of care; and participates in a multidisciplinary team’s planning of perioperative patient care. The position is listed at $35.00–$50.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
