About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Limestone Surgery Center. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops individualized perioperative patient plans of care, and participates in planning care as a member of a multidisciplinary team. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. The stated pay range is USD $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
Complete a Basic Life Support (BLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
Complete an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
Complete a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
