About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center. The nurse assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops individualized perioperative care plans, and participates in a multidisciplinary team that plans patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. Candidates must graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold current state nursing licensure in good standing. Current BLS and ACLS certification, or successful completion of the courses within 90 days of employment, is required. PALS certification or completion within 90 days is required when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services. One year of OR and/or medical-surgical nursing experience and perioperative nursing specialty certification are preferred. The stated pay range is $46.00–$52.00 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
Current BLS certification or successful completion of Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification or successful completion of the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course within 90 days of employment.
When pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services, current PALS certification or successful completion of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of OR and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities
