About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at Mohawk Surgery Center. The RN assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and participates in a multidisciplinary team’s planning of patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
