About The Position
SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at Summit Surgery Center. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode, develops an individualized perioperative patient plan of care, and serves on a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
- Complete the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
- Complete the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility's scope of services.
Nice To Haves
- One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
