About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide perioperative care at AAMC Pasadena Surgery Center. The role assesses patients throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and works with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The nurse is expected to promote SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.

The posted hourly pay range is USD $38.00 to USD $44.00.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, complete the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities
