About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Texas Health Surgery Center Bedford. The RN assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and participates in a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values. The posted pay range is USD $28.94 to USD $48.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
