About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for Midwest Center for Day Surgery. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, develops individualized perioperative plans of care, and participates in a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• When pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services, successful completion of a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
