About The Position

Registered Nurse – Oncology travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: 1,568–1,698 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour night shifts). Setting: acute medical-surgical, inpatient care focus, Oncology RN duties within a high-acuity unit. Note: there is a location restriction requiring no local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the oncology specialty or closely related area
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule
• Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, plus one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients in a high-acuity acute med-surg unit
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and IV therapies; respond promptly to clinical changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Maintain patient safety, perform fall precautions, infection control, and wound/skin assessments as applicable
• Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; participate in rounds and communicate with physicians and families
