About The Position

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med Surg Tele) on the night shift in Pittsfield, MA, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: several weeks. Weekly pay: $2,269–$2,300 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Travel assignment in a hospital setting. This role requires active MA licensure in hand at submission, a BSN, and recent MS experience with core acute-care certifications.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts nursing license in hand at time of submission
BSN required
3–4 years recent medical-surgical (MS) experience
Current certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
Ability to work night shifts in a hospital MS unit
COVID-19 vaccine + booster current (no exemptions); flu status as applicable
Submission requires SSN and DOB; clinician must log into MA online portal and provide necessary items
Local radius rule indicates non-local candidates; travel assignment preferred (within 50 miles not accepted)

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients on nights, with emphasis on MS telemetry needs
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans; administer medications and IVs per physician orders
Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate when appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure patient safety
Document nursing assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the charting system
Ensure infection control, patient safety, and comfort, including occasional patient transport and discharge planning as needed
