About The Position
This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Tele within a long-term care setting. The assignment is located in Clarkston, WA, and is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The position guarantees 36 hours per week with night shifts. The work setting is a Long-Term Care (LTC) Nursing Home.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington or an active multi-state license.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or educational equivalent.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Ability to float if needed to meet assignment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult residents on Med Surg Tele within a long-term care setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; administer medications and treatments; monitor patient status.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; document care in the charting system; communicate changes to physicians and family as appropriate.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition; perform required procedures and support patient safety and infection control.
- Support patient flow, admissions, and discharges as needed; assist with care planning and patient education.
- May float to other units or departments as needed to meet patient care needs.
