About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position for a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in Ida Grove, IA. The role is a 13-week travel assignment supporting a leave of absence in a hospital setting. The assignment begins on 11/01/2026 and requires working day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active RN license to practice in Iowa or eligible for a multi-state license
• BLS certification
• Ability to work a day shift in a hospital setting and adapt to a travel assignment
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during day shifts
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, intake and output, and response to treatments; document findings promptly
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered; assist with procedures as needed
• Maintain telemetry monitoring where appropriate and escalate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and therapy services to plan and implement care
• Prepare patients for discharge and provide education to patients and families to support safe transitions
