About The Position

Requirements

Current New York RN license (active)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Telemetry experience required
Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call/callback as needed
Education: RN licensure in New York

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
Perform comprehensive assessments; develop and update care plans; administer medications and treatments per orders
Monitor telemetry readings, vitals, and clinical status; respond to rhythm changes and escalate to the physician as needed
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds; document care accurately in the electronic medical record
Support unit operations in expanded roles as assigned (charge nurse, preceptor, committee member) and assist with staff orientation when appropriate
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; ensure continuity of care and adherence to established policies
