About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing in Saint Helena, CA. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is three 12-hour night shifts (18:30–07:00). The work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor; CPR certification acceptable if BLS is not available.
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required.
- At least 2 years of recent acute care/Med Surg experience.
- Ability to work the listed night-shift schedule in a hospital setting.

- BSN preferred
- active license in the state of assignment
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect and interpret relevant data, develop and implement a care plan, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; maintain a safe and healing environment.
- Document care accurately and communicate changes in patient status to the treatment team.
