About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse position for a Medical-Surgical unit in Bangor, Maine. It is a temporary assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a shift of 3x12 Nights. The role is in a hospital inpatient setting.
Requirements
- Current Maine RN license
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the medical-surgical unit under supervision of the Unit Director.
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor vital signs and telemetry as indicated.
- Collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement patient care plans; document care accurately.
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and escalate to the clinical leader/charge nurse as needed.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and education; chart diligently and communicate changes to the team.
