About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg is available for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This is a 16-week engagement in a hospital setting. The role involves providing direct patient care and monitoring for a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, documenting care, assessing and planning patient care, collaborating with the care team, facilitating safe patient transfers, discharge planning, and patient education, while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and infection control practices.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility to practice in GA)
BLS required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts in a hospital Med/Surg environment
Ability to perform in a high-activity unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio around 5–6:1

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred
Level 1 trauma or mid-to-large hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and monitoring for a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit
