About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) in Willits, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on 09/14/2026. Requirements

Active registered nurse license in California
Current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements

Med/Surg nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
Administer medications and treatments; monitor patient status; document care in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; participate in care planning and patient education.
Uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality outcomes; respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.
Provide effective communication to patients and families while maintaining professional standards and regulatory compliance.
