About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The role involves providing direct patient care to individuals admitted to Medicine or Med Surg Telemetry units. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient status, performing assessments, administering medications, managing IV therapies, collaborating with the healthcare team, documenting care, and participating in discharge planning. The assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC in Cleveland, Ohio, and is for a duration of 13 weeks.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year Med Surg Tele experience
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a Med Surg Tele setting with rotating Day/Night shifts

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals on Medicine or Med Surg Tele admission criteria
- Monitor patient status, perform regular assessments, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to support admission criteria and care planning
- Document nursing care accurately in the medical record, following unit policies and compliance standards
- Respond to changes in patient conditions, escalate to the team as needed, and participate in discharge planning
